Great article, something or someone that isn't talked about often. John Franklin III is the unsung hero for FSU when prepping for big running QBs. Pretty cool considering he is from my Alma mater, South Plantation High School. (Go Paladins!)
Franklin is playing the role of Mariota, just like he did Nick Marshall, Deshaun Watson and Justin Thomas over the last 14 games. Franklin has FSU-track level speed, which helps make the enormous task of preparing for Marcus Mariota just a bit easier.

He'll be in the mix for the QB battle next year unless we get a transfer. I think he'll switch to WR if he isn't 2nd string (this is what i see happening) regardless, he'll always be our Scout QB for running signal callers.
