FloridaOD,proudly posed with Dad's .22 revolver, having first squeezed the trigger through a cylinder full........circa 1960's. Back then, not everyone was snapping away at photo images.
Thank you for the photo Dad! Taught me well as to photo frame and sight placement....perhaps genetic?

Motor Yacht "Sinbad".Offshore Dade County,Fla.

My dad had traded his dad's (my Grandfather's) .38 for the .22 so as to "Plink" along the then mostly wilderness coastal waterways with cheaper ammo.

By the time I turned eighteen,I had pretty much worn the nine shot .22 out,Dad gave me a Ruger Single Six for my 18th birthday- handgun ownership by 18 year old legal then. Might post photos of the Ruger.
Shot Dade county western fringe between Conservation Areas and urban area,Conservation Areas legal hunt,Trail Glades Range,Griffin Road ( now there are some images....) and a ton of lead flung in and around Lake Hicpochee,Moore Haven area.
Hunters are present yet relatively uncommon in Florida :wink
