Quick Bimini Trip

Decided Friday that the weather was just too good to pass up so we took off early Sat am for a quick trip. Crossing was pretty much glass as was the entire weekend. Checked into our slip at Bluewater, picked up my brother from another mother Leroy, cleared and bought some rum. Had baits in water at 10:15 am and headed south. Went all the way to Ocean Cay without a bite, lots of flyers, no other boats.
Spent the afternoon diving spearing and caught a few bugs/conch. Conditions were unreal, could spot a condo 100yards away so we added several new spots. In the afternoon we high speeded all the way back to Bimini without a bite again. Sunday am got up early and left the dock, had lines in at 7:00am. All the way down almost to Ocean again, with one screaming bite off Cat, but pulled hook. That was it on the wahoo, several other boats passed us while we bottom fished, most didn't do anything either. Caught a few yellow tails, small groupers, found a few more lobster and hogfish, had lunch at Honeymoon Harbor and headed home, made the 5:00pm bridge.
All in all, only thing that would have made it better were a few wahoo but those will have to wait.
