Looking to get my new toys out Sunday, 9/28, and trying to find out if anything is going on.
Haven't tried the new ramps and since the Melbourne/Palm Bay area down to Sebastian has some pretty messed up water, was thinking of the port.
Looking for anything with fins that bites. Other peoples' junk fish (Ladyfish, jacks, ??) are fun fish. Usually fish artificials, but have a bait rod for live bait if we can catch any.

We are thinking about heading out to fish Port Canaveral tomorrow as well. If you are looking for anything to pull your lines then you are in luck. We launched from the port's boat ramp last week and fished around the channel markers and along the beaches nearby. There was a lot of action on the water around first light. We were fishing with live bait and we caught mostly sharks and ladyfish. The sharks were in the 3-6 foot range and put up a good fight. Saw some tarpon rolling along the beaches in the early afternoon. Soon after that, we hooked up on something huge that spooled one of our smaller rods before we could even pull the anchor. Hope that helps and good luck if you decide to make the trip.
