BPK Lane Snapper

Headed out around 3pm for some evening Lane snapper. Threw the cast net once and netted about 150 pilchards and left. We started slow drifting since our anchor never gets in the spot and we picked off 10 or so in the first minutes. No really big ones but a 13 inch lane snapper ain't bad. Repositioned ourselves and these two storms starting to inch closer towards us. One from Marathon and the other key west. Starting blowing and seas get rough so we headed home with about 20-25 lane snappers. Threw the remaining sardines in the homemade live well to be fished another day. First time fishing in about a month, been lobstering a lot and we weren't doing great. Still don't known the spots yet.

Ocean side lanes. Pilchards on grass flats by bridges.
