New camera announced on the crop-sensor format side. I like the 400mm f/4 lens. I wish Nikon would make one of those.
I can only hope this 7D mkII announcement means Nikon will finally introduce a DX-format body that sits above the D7100.

7d has an 18mp sensor...
rumor specs say the mk 2 has 20mp...
the sensor appears to use the new technology for the sensor as the 6d...
the focus matrix appears to match if not be better than the Nikon 7100...
I have said for a long time that the canon focusing matrix is it's Achilles heel...
apparently, they have made a long over due improvement....
if I don't have a new #3 racing sail made, I could spring for the 7d mk2...
problem is my old racing #3 nearing the end of it's service life for racing and will soon be relegated to booze cruising and beer can racing...
priorities...****...
