Ran east on tues. Awesome sea's. 1-2 in the AM sitting down to 1 ft in the afternoon. Fishing this time of year is usually tough because of the sweltering heat, hot surface temps, and varying bottom temps. Fished the 21 for the majority of the trip. Very little current on the 21. Got freight trained a few times and managed to put 1 nice gag on ice. Also put a good AJ and a few nice vermillion in the cooler. Caught countless ARS. Fought the 3K current to make a few drops on the cones. Took 26-30oz to hold any kind of bottom. Released a monster ARS off the cones. Hit the 27 on the way in with no luck. Nice day on the water. Really diggin the new ramps at the port. Option to wash the boat in the parking lot is a definite plus.
