I have a 2008 115 E-TEC I was slow trolling and the engine will just shut off. Then it will start back up no problem. Any ideas why this happen? :huh

there are a number of things that can cause an engine to quit, it would be a good idea to first monitor the lift pump pressure and the fuel rail pressure while the motor is at trolling speed. This assumes that the motor is in good shape, compression and ignition wise plus the plugs are gapped correctly and not worn. Does the thermostat keep the cylinderhead hot enough at slow speeds?
