Sanibel beach question

The family likes to go on the boat to the beach on the weekends. I usually don't go to far Down once I pass the lighthouse. Maybe a couple miles at most just to get away from the lighthouse traffic. Every place i have anchored at has a small dropoff right at the beach. Just wondering if further down the beach has sections without the drop off. My son is only 3 and it's not great for him. Any recommendations for areas further down that stay shallow.
Tx guys
Appreciate the help

The south side of sanibel once you get around the light house is all area with plenty shallow beach. I anchor out back of a few resorts over there, get lunch and drinks with my family, use the pool and beach without a problem. Many of them have no problems with you using the pool and amenities this time of year as long as you spend a couple dollars there.

Any of you guys do this. Which ones do you like better. I never even thought of doing this. But i guess if you buy lunch and drinks. Why not. Tx.

Most boaters anchor up about 1/2 mile past the lighthouse. It's shallow there out to about 500 ft off the beach. But I don't like the boaters there cause it's a good snook spot
