Does anyone know of any salt or brackish water ponds around the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area that can be fished from shore? Thanks for your help.

Mapquest the South Gulf Cove area. Then go south to Robin st. There's about 10 of them back there.
Tarpon... everything else is just bait.

Practically every retention pond or canal will hold fish. Some are fresh, others brackish.
