Gonna try a new Vietnamese restaurant tonight, what are some traditional Vietnamese dishes you would recommend?

You have to go to the Korean joint and order kugogi to get some dog.
Probably got some good cat and rat at the Vietnamese place though :hungry
I had Phở tái chin bò viên soup and added a bunch of hot sauce, sprouts and lime. Very good and very hot.
My wife had the Phở tái soup.
All very good.
It helps when you speak the lingo.
I googled the Vietnamese name just for you. I doubt they will serve it though. I used to know a Vietnamese lady once many years ago.
Spring rolls are the best.
Ca Kho To (Caramelized Fish in Clay Pot) is also very good.
Vietnamese food is very good.

Expound on your post please.
Then my wife decided to make fun of how much soup I got on my shirt and the poor lady tried not to laugh. It didn't work.
We enjoyed everything and will definitely go back.

You're mad about a lot of things Joe.
I have a problem eating streusel to this day.
On a serious note, Vietnamese food is very good. Chinese food is about the only Asian food that I really don't care for.

it's a fun way to share dinner and have a kitchen party
Someone said there's a place on Colonial that makes great Vietnamese sandwiches. Let's do an OT lunch there.
I wouldn't let my wife drive the nippon Honda van...except it was free from the MIL and it is not polite to not accept expensive gifts :wink...and I figure we're even with that whole Hiroshima / Nagasaki thing...
Many things to do.

Yeah, I'm conflicted....as a proud German-American I have to say the "motherland" has been less "motherly" and more MOTHER *%$# in the past.... but their beer is good, optics are top notch and make some kick tail cars....
If I eat streusel...It will be Apple as a homage to the good old USA and Apple pie.
Many things to do.
