Check in to growing pine trees.

The developer of the area we live in claims agriculture on all property by planting pine trees.

Once the lot is sold, it goes to the normal rate.

You might need several hundred acres, I don't know the requirements, check with your county tax folks.

Depends on how much property you have...certain number of cows, horses, goats, etc per acre. Pretty sure it's different for each county.

My neighbor in Pinecrest has two acres and 100 mango trees... he gets the exemption.

I have the exemption in Georgia just by putting the land in conservation use. I also have a GATE card(Georgia Agricultural Tax Exempt). In GA you also qualify if you have $2,500 per year in AG sales.

After we planted some vines and citrus fruit tress we consider a hive to both encourage the fertilization plus help revive the bee population.

Then we realized that having the seventh hole golf cart path run right by the hive wasn't going to very popular so gave up on that idea! :)

Why put your hive at a golf course? Just put it in your back yard.

Well somewhere between there and Deer Creek right? I remember you used to live somewhat in that area unless you moved :)

Personally, I'd love to move to the boonies and get a waterfront place somewhere off Hecksher. The further away from the city, the better.
