Retired Navy SEALS start non profit Fishing Org in Merritt Island

I recently bought a house in Merritt Island which will be the base for a non profit fishing organization I founded after retiring from the Navy SEAL Teams. The org will provide fishing trips to SOCOM wounded warriors in the Merritt Island area. I will be moving down there in June and would love any insight or information on areas to fish and how to fish the rivers and near shore locations. This non profit is run by volunteers who are looking for a way to give back to our nations warriors. The name of the non-profit is Frogman Outdoors, we hope to launch the website and start fundraising the 1st of July and plan to conduct the first trips in early 2015. If anyone has any information or would like to help in anyway it would be deeply appreciated.

My name is Kevin and I can be reached at 757-580-2602 or at [email protected]

Thanks

I'll gladly volunteer a spot in my boat to take vets fishing. More days than not I have an empty seat and I'd love to show my appreciation. I'll send you a P.M with contact info.

Props to you for taking the initiative to get something like this started. Any way we can give back to these guys, who have sacrificed so much for us.

When you get in town come to the FSFA fishing club meetings. They meet the third or fourth Tuesday of the month at the vets center in MI it will be a great place to start and they are a bunch of good people involved with the club.

Again thanks for the feedback. That is a good idea going to the fishing club meetings. Also if anyone has any affiliation with restaurants or hotels in the area please let me know.

    Thanks
