Weather a little better Monday with the wind SSE. Weed lines began forming at 15 miles and every couple after that. Forming is the best way to describe the weed. Almost unfishable near the main weed line with weed everywhere trying to form up. Lots of small bonito and a couple of bailers under select patches and we caught all we needed on light tackle. Stopped at a few bottom spots for the usual assortment and to beat up my area newbies with AJ's and the endangered snapper. They could not believe the size of the snapper and the toughness of a large AJ. After catching the allowed and releasing the not allowed, everyone was very happy. We finished the day along the beach looking for cobia at about 3pm with only a couple of rays sighted and no cobia seen below.
