Yeah and Nay out of Canaveralthis Monday

Hi:
Couldn't get down to BLUE POINTS today at 12:00. The darned traffic at 415 and then on I-95 was CVFDWX!
When I did get there, the boys down at Blue Points were great. Boat in water, ice and gas bait ready to go. BEAUTIFUL.
Looked to run Due nuts EAST, HAH.
Go out into a S/E wind. My poor little 23 foot DUSKY took it easily, and my body COULD NOT. Slowed down from 23 to 18. re adjusted the rim tabs and engine height and plowed on.
At 75 feet I thru them over and headed North/East. Tons and Tons of scattered weeds and weed MATS.
YEAH. I'm by myself, and trying to run three long lines (o/riggers + down the middle(w,w,w,b) + two handlines.
HOOHAH. I got lucky and put out both handlines. One handline ( right corner) had a black/Purple 4 inch Cedar daisy chain. Left corner has a 36 inch spreader bar 9 squids (Pink/Blue sPots). BANZAI on both. Handlined 'em in and shook OFF both 20 inch Mahi.
Out they went. REPEAT steps with more 12 inchers. Shook 'em off. Did it again. DUMB ON ME! pulled 'em in, shook off 2 more Mahi and kep t 'em in the boat.
Put out the LEFT LEE o/rigger with a BIRD/PINK/WHITE daisy chain bait rig. BANZAI. Another small Mahi. Left him and put out the RIGHT LEE o/rigger. Lemon/Lime daisy chain bait rig.BANZAI( OY VEA) as my good friend would HAVE said. Pulled both in and re baited . Put both out after pulling in the other o/rigger.

DO I do above again? Remember, I'm out there alone.
Turns out, I put a Blue/White cedar daisy chain on the right o/rigger, Blue/Pink/Yellow HEX HEAD daisy chain.
BANZAI on both o/riggers. This time keepers(just barely).
Think again. Keep both riggers in, put out that w , w, w , B with a bird and a Blue/White Cedar daisy chain.
OK. Put out a Red/White Cedar Daisy Chain on the left handline and a 36 inch 9 squid spreader bar.
POW , BAM , ZING , POP a nice long Wahoo or King comes out of the water, shakes it head and cuts the Cedar into 2 pieces. AARRGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. HOLY HAPPY HORSE POOP. I'm getting tired and it's getting late.
The 36 inch 9 squid spreader bar goes of and a huge bonehead is on. Handlines it in and put it out again. Down to the W , W, ,W , B and this handline. Another BONEHEAD.

That's it, I pulled everything in, and headed back to Blue Points.

I never made it out any further North East then 85 feet!

I hope I haven't bored y'all with all my verbiage.
Get out there and WACK'M...'N...STACK'M right into your coolers.
