According to Bassmaster, you have to catch a 10lb. Largemouth or a 6lb Smallmouth to be admitted to their "Lunker Club."

But I say hawg, pig, or toad refering to bass that I think are fairly large.

I'd say anything over 5lbs constitutes a lunker, hawg, etc.. Something to be considered a trophy bass is 10lbs plus!!

    Just for fun.

    Lunker - 10+ pounds
    Hawg - 8 - 9.99 pounds
    Pig/Toad - 6 - 7.99 pounds

Seems like the term "Monster" would be even bigger than a lunker.

The only difference between a 3lb'er and Lunker is whether or not there are any witnesses.

12+ calls for the phrase "look at this water buffalo"

    LOL!!

Been fishing a lot of years and never caught a hawg or lunker I guess. Maybe tonight...poles are in the truck and hitting up this nice little lake at a buddy's place that hardly gets fished.

    3-4lb = nice fish

    5-8 = toad

    9-12+ hawg

that would be relative to one man's interpretation, anything 5lbs or bigger is a keeper(dinner), lol
