I saw a video today and this guide took some guys to a spot for peacock fishing. It was a rock quarry with others connecting to it. Does anyone know where this is?
All the Miami canals are basically rock quarries or drain canals cut into the limestone.
Lots are interconnected and about all have peacocks. So, hard to pinpoint.

In the video it was a lake/quarry wasn't a canal. It had the white sand/dirt, I don't what to call it lol. I'll try to find the video again and post it here.

I know exactly where that is. I've always wondered how the fishing is there. I didn't even know you're allowed to fish there. I can pm it to you if you'd like.

It looks like the pits just north of Miami, on the West side of I-95. There were 7 or 8 pits there, that the state was going to turn into a park, and even construct an exit just for the park. It could also be the big pit just south of Miami, south of Black Point??? My son lived in south Miami for years, and I caught a BUNCH of nice Peacocks out of the canals, pits and development lakes there.

It starts at around 3 mins and 45 seconds. See if you can recognize it.
I sent you a PM.
