Had the chance to hit up some reds after I dropped my daughter off to school. Asked my older boy if I can take his kayak, anticipating that my buddy wouldn't show, my son isn't thrilled since i put the first red in his kayak. In the water by 10 and it didn't take long till I see tails working the weed mats for fiddlers. I can see fiddler claws here and there but the reds had no problem taking the mud minnows i had. Caught a nice 25", dinner.
Proceeded to paddle towards other single tails popping up. Managed a nice 30" that had his lady swimming with him so I throw my gulp shrimp (Natural) at her and fight is on with 2 reds at same time, loving it. She gets loose but that was ok so I can bring him in. Photo then released. Managed 3 and lost 4, good time!
