Saturday and Sunday both looking doable.
Saturday: Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northeast 5 knots in the afternoon. Seas 4 feet with a dominant period 10 seconds. Chance of showers.
Sunday: South winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 4 feet. Chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms.
Anyone heading out this weekend?

Many things to do.
Knots to be unraveled
'fore the darkness falls on you
You have to go Djr, how else will you get a cobia into your slam streak?
I havent decided if I am going offfshore or inshore yet. If the weather looks like today it will be the lagoon. Hopefully I am fishing with my daughter if she gets into town tonight as she brings me good luck!

It was DEAD FLAT yesterday (Sunday), all day.
Filled the well with threadfins in less than 10mins right out of the inlet.
Bait was everywhere and there was tons of activity...
We only saw one cobe on a turtle in 45ft., just missed the jig.
We didn't see any rays and caught a bunch of stuff off the bottom in the 60ft area.
Water temp got up to 78deg at 60ft. in the afternoon.
If I could do it all over again I would have hit the stream yesterday...
It's going to be an early spring run and I am ready...
I was thinking just the opposite- it was so flat that we decided to run to the stream- 200ft to 500ft and back in- saw a big mahi jump when we started putting in lines- but not one knock down the entire day- we wished we had stayed inshore for cobia.
You didn't miss anything, but you could have saved some fuel. That's the way it is man. Been out to 500 only to hear that people loaded up on phins in 82ft. Next time.
