Offshore Cudjoe 1/31 - A Blackfin saves the day

This afternoon was slow offshore. Too much current for deep dropping. Scattered weeds everywhere made for frustrating trolling. Then, right in front of us we saw fish breaking the surface chasing baitfish. A slight course correction, a bump up in speed and we had a double hookup. A little Blackfin Tuna went back to grow up some more and we kept this guy for dinner tonight.

This is what he looked like at the dock

This is what some of him looked like a few hours later.

The rest was blackened, seared and went too fast to get a photo.
