I know what it was. After someone posted up the transcript of the Apollo 11 tapes where the astronauts were observing the UFOs watching them from across the crater on the moon....someone got to Calusa. Gary warned us.

  • Ever have anyone throw a hizzyfit & request that all their threads be deleted?

Saw that once. Chronic heckler on another forum, ranted about long standing feud, threatened to quit posting & demanded all his posts be deleted. When modville posted that it was not possible poor dude blew a 60 amp fuse.

With vBulletin it's extremely easy to do. You can select every post a member has made or every thread that they've ever started and in less than ten seconds, gone, forever, and ever, permanently, with no way to retrieve, no matter what you do, no matter who you are, even me.

Gary's pretty short. I mean sharp. Well, he's short and sharp. He's marginally sharper than he is short.

Thought of it as more of a 'Gen. Jack Ripper' kind of thing.
I think you have just identified 80% of all the people that have been involved with OT (at one point or another)..any Saturday night around 10:30-1:00

Seemed like an extreme obsession with denying others his 'pearls' & calling "80% of all the people that" didn't hang on every word - 'swine'.

I think 80% have either or both, a sense of humor & something to contribute. Presume few seek to have their own contributions deleted, or post Drama Queen resignations?

TTT, official moderator of the FS Forum, I request officially that you remove my thread about the Easter dinner my missus cooked and the photos of the sacrificial lamb. Once removed I then officially understand than you will need to officially ban anyone posting any reference to it, and treat it as a photo posting that does not have my official permission.

    TYIA.

Maybe if we tell people that the brain is an App, they will start using it.

The standing policy was that any author of a thread could request it being taken down, regardless of the content, as a courtesy. I was not aware that it changed.

Wow, that was a long time ago, a lot has happened since then.

I beat anorexia (quite handily I might add), quit smokin and lost all my hair, except I still have a little on the sides and back.
