What's Bites in Florida in Winter?

I'm a west coast fisherman so I really do not know what you guys and gals catch in Florida in Winter, but I am curious. I know you have probably some of the best fishing in all seasons. What's the inshore species and offshore species you can target in winter?

Me too, trying to get to a 1000 before the ball drops.
Go Navy.....
Be aware that they are not the same as the Pacific fish you have on the W. Coast also called sheepshead. There's a pretty good article on the home page for this site about sheepshead techniques and baits of choice. However, if you're going to be spending the money to travel and stay here in a hotel or something, I highly recommend you include $300-500 for hiring an inshore guide at least once. Trust me, 4 hours with a guide is worth YEARS of trying to figure it out on your own!!!
Good luck!

puffers, catfish, 7''gray snappers, slippery ****, grunts, spots, skates, 5''lane snappers, goats, ladyfish, jacks, pinfish, blue runners, and every once in a while a sheepshead.....however, if you buy a magazine or a newspaper, you will find they catch different fish..
You forgot lizardfish and leatherjacks.
