well.. was boarded this afternoon, so decided to check out the cams.. PB Inlet cam didn't look so bad (nothing like yesterday), so.. what the heck.. loaded up the trolling rods, a package of ballyhoo and head for the inlet. Inlet was relatively flat but decided to get 4 rods ready to hit the water before I got out. Put two bally's on and 2 skirts. As i headed out 2 sport-fishes were hauling butt in. Well, 6' wake x 2 plus~4's coming in, made for tense moment. got out beyond first buoy, and headed SE.. set autopilot and put one skirt out and one bally. turned out to be a few 2's... more 4's... and a bunch of 5's added into the mix.. thought i'd go out to 200 and come back.. from 75-85' there was a ton of flyers.. showers of small ones and a few bigger ones.. the seagulls were following waiting for me to stir them up. they were diving everywhere. kinda cool except when they went after my bally. SOB picked it up and started to take off with it. Locked up drag and got it back. Started reeling it in. the birds followed it all the way to the boat. Hit 100' and decided that was enough fun for the day and turned around and went back in. Below is bally seagull tried to take.
