has any body had any luck here for snook and redfish. i am planning on getting out thier this weekend, but am wanting a big snook. i think i am going to rent a canoe and paddle around to the surrounding flats and mangroves. is this a good plan.
Fish early to mid afternoon. Highs at noon on Saturday, 1:14 on Sunday.
You'll be fishing the incoming tide so fish outside on the flats and work you're way up into the mangroves than back out as the tide changes.
It'd throw jigs early and as the sun warms the flats use some top water. Also the gold spoon at any time. You have a major feeding period at 7:20 Saturday, 8:15 on Sunday. Good luck!!
