Making a trip to choko - what's up with the warm winter?

Hey guys,
I'm taking a buddy down south for a couple days of fishing out of choko.
I'm just looking for a basic pattern to head in the right direction. With the warm winter so far, are fish still holding near the outer islands or have they moved way back?
