Pulled the trigger - 2012 '24 Skeeter Bay Boat

dwyermwdwyermw Posts: 336 Deckhand
It took a 2012 Skeeter ZX24V with 60 hours on it to make me move out of my Action Craft 1890 SE w/175 HP. I have recently moved from the Orlando area to Ormond Beach and I wanted to do more offshore while still being able to access reasonably shallow water. I have caught lots of large trout and reds in very shallow water which I will now be foregoing in exchange for near shore days when the seas are '2 - '3 with a 8 second dominant.

Good looking boat. What motor? Looks like a 200 or so Yammie.

300 HP Yamaha, twin power poles, completely over the top! The 200 HP would be very underpowered.
