Wedding At Bimini Sands

Well after a year of planning it's almost here. Our daughter is getting married Saturday the 12th of October with the ceremony taking place on the beach almost right in front of our condo. All the other festivities will be at Mackeys.
Being an old school Sicilian this will be a very happy sad day for me. I'm giving away my baby girl. Please Lord help me get through the day.

  • Congrats, and remember, you are one tough kitty!

Fun stuff, my wife and I were married on the beach in front of Big Game.

Is reverend Pender doing the ceremony?

We attended a beach wedding on Green Turtle Cay in 2009 and it was fantastic! Fun dancing to the Gully Roosters at the Green Turtle Club later too!

    Good luck and ENJOY!

    Thanks Guys.
Quite a few of our quest have never been to Bimini let alone catch a wahoo. This one will be the hit of the barbecue at the infinity pool tomorrow for sure.
Ok I know you'll want to know the particulars. The fish hit just west of Mackeys in 350' of water on a Big Bite pink and white lure with a 2lb. trolling weight.
The excitement that this fish created was just surreal. I guess for those of us who fish a lot maybe we are taking too much for granted and not really enjoying how lucky we are. The experience really made me stop and just enjoy all the big smiles and endless excitement our guest created at the dock.
It was a great time for me in many ways!!

The barbecue, the bonfire, and the the parade of floating sky lights last night were just fantastic. My great friends Emil, Bobby, Bones and Dolyle made sure I had everything I needed and more. Today is the big day and believe it or not I can't wait for it to begin. If last night is any indication of how things are going to go the wedding is going to be just awesome. I'll post some pictures a little later as I'm still a little busy.lol

The wedding was beautiful and the reception a fun affair. Of course the food prepared by Edision was awesome as always. To finish off the festivities the guest are headed to the Sapona this morning on Neal Watsons boat where Krista will jump from the top deck in her wedding dress. This should be something to see and remember. I'll be sure to take a few photos of that stunt.

Our photographer has never been to Bimini so as a result over 5,000 photos were taken. He was just in awe over the beauty of the island. I'll have to show you guys some of the more creative ones.

Rick, I know I'm coming in late here, but looks like a great time had by all. Congrats for throwing her a wedding she'll certainly never forget.
