So coming back to the train station ramp this am I was drifting the bridge just north of the ramp... when a Venice cop came out of their mobile building, blow an air horn, then tell me I can't fish "the channel". I looked over and said something like "what are you talking about?" He said "no fishing in the channel"? I said "since when?" He said something but cars were going overhead on the bridge and I couldn't hear him. I didn't feel like getting into it with him so I left.
So... is this some law I was never aware of, or is he confusing the signs that say "No fishing or anchoring ON the bridge" with no fishing "near" the bridge?
Tarpon... everything else is just bait.
