Saturday, July 20, we had the opportunity to take our grandson (visiting PI from IN) for a day of fishing offshore.
We started trolling around 30 ft outside Captiva and quickly had a rod get hit. Our grandson, Hunter, naturally got the first chance and found out what it is like to have a nice Gag on the line! After a few more short Gags we headed out to some Red Grouper spots. Fishing was relatively slow, but (6) keeper RG's and a few shorts were caught. Great day and a lot of fun watching your grandson having fun on his first trip offshore.
