2013 Panga Marine 19' Niente - New Build

Let the fun begin!

Update 1 (3/28): The gelcoat was sprayed into the mold yesterday! :grin

Spent a bunch of time of late on research & sea trials picking out a boat for me & my family. Well, when all was said & done we chose the Panga Marine 19' Niente. It's as close to perfect for my family needs as we will get.

Once we selected Panga Marine, we had a pretty challenging task ahead of us spec'ing out a boat suited to our needs. We wanted a boat that was both family & fish friendly. Family friendly in that it will be outfitted to accomodate beach & island hopping family fun. Fish friendly in that it will be outfitted to fish both inshore & nearshore, and on a nice day a bit of offshore. Needless to say, in the end it came down to lots of compromises. The good news though, I think with the help of Panga Marine we've come up with an awesome boat outfitted uniquely for my families diversified needs. Stay tuned, I'll be sharing pictures of the build as it progresses.

Oh yeh, for the record... my experience with Rob & Tom over at Panga Marine thus far has been 1st class. Tom hasn't missed a detail as we've been spec'ing out the boat.

Here's the short list of what's been spec'ed:
Ice Blue Hull, Oyster White Deck, 90 HP E-Tec, Minn Kota RT 80 w/ iPilot, Garmin 740s w/ thru hull transducer, Center Console w/ Bench Seat & live well, Bow & CC Seat Cushions, removable Bimini, Livorsi nav lights, swim platform, amongst other assorted goodies!

Where are you located at? I had a 20' super skiff with a TTop built a little over a year ago and love it. I keep it in Palm Coast and fish offshore and inshore when I get a chance. If I can answer any questions you may have, let me know. Rob and his team are excellent, they'll take good care of you.

Hey Capt., I'm in Bradenton (south of Tampa). Thanks for the offer to answer questions - I'm sure I'll be taking you up on it. Yeh, Rob & team are awesome. I'm only about 20 minutes from the shop so I'm gonna have lots of chances to check out the build as it progresses.

It's gonna get real exciting from here as they finish up lamination by applying gelcoat paste, nonskid and installing the gunnel cap. Should begin rigging late next week!

It's finally here! Took delivery of the boat Friday afternoon and had an opportunity to enjoy it with the family on Friday night (dinner) & Saturday (tubing), then took it out Monday and broke her in fishing.

All I can say is wow. The winds were up yesterday & I'm real happy how the boat chews up the slop! It's better than I had even hoped for.

Rob & Tom & the team at Panga Marine build a sweet ride!

I was Wondering if you've owned other boats and the comparison? I'll be in the market very soon and considering a panga. Anyone else have opinions? Will either be a 20-22 for inshore and near shore charters around Charlotte harbor. Nice boat bro, congratulations.
