6-29-13 Boynton On the TUBB Welcome back Squiddly

Got a late start this morning called Trim Tabb told him to call Squidd and wake her up and and lets go fishin..she hasn't been out in 7 months...lookin' really pale. So we broke the inlet at about 9:00 to go do some deep droppin for some tiles. We trolled out to the the spot without a Nada. We found the current to be rippin' hard to the north. Put 11 lbs on the rig and still found it hard to hold bottom for more than 3 seconds. First drop I felt a small bump and flicked the ElectraMate in gear,Yea we are old school on the Tubb and that will never change. Had a LP and hated it, you boys with Crystals can keep them too..just sayin. Had a small tile at least we got the skunk off the boat.next drop got a decent fish.Time to let some one else play so Trimm jumped on the rod and caught a few more. Now Squidd cant stand it, it's her turn. She got the hang of it instantly and had a fish on in only seconds..with her fish in the boat she is doin the Geeky fish dance :willynilly:dance:dance got it on the Go Pro but she wont let me post it.(If enough requests come my way I might do it any way.). All in all, it was a fun day.We have not been blessed with the presence of the Squiddster in a while, as she has been ill. We are so glad she is back on the team, fishin has not been same without her. Long story short we got some tasty fillets and are about to pig out with the family.

(Just for the record we were catching Grey Tile fish in state waters.)
Ya can't catch em on the couch... Capt Bryan
