...except for Hernandez of course.
Who has the premier athletic department in the SEC?
That's an easy one -- Florida.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Gators finished in the top four of the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup rankings. Florida checked in at No. 2 this year behind Stanford, which occupied the top spot for the 19th consecutive year.
The Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup, presented annually by the nation’s athletic directors, recognizes the schools with the best overall sports performances in an academic year. Points are awarded based on finishes and participation in 20 NCAA Division I sports.
Florida is the only program to finish among the nation’s top 10 in each of the last 30 national all-sports standings. The Gators won national championships this year in gymnastics and men's outdoor track and field.
Texas A&M came in at No. 5 and Georgia at No. 10.
