Berry ID

Being a phoneman I see a lot of things growing in customers back yards. From edible/inedible to smokable to poisonous etc....

Yesterday I stumbled across these little gems. The customer wasn't home so I had no one to ask what they are.

Any ideas?

Negative on the cocoplum. I eat cocoplums and know what they are and how the tree looks. Def not cocoplums.

Besides, these fruit grow on thin stems the same way a cherry does. Not on sticks.

These are some of the seeds. Not like a regular cherry seed.

Looked on Google and the huckleberry doesn't have the same little petals on the bottom. I don't think that's what these are.

I'm gonna have to go down to that guys house again and ask. This sheet is driving nuts not knowing.

    Sorry, I should have specified...

The petals on these fruit are on the bottom. Huckleberries have the petals growing around the stems.

You got them from someone else's back yard? I'd say they're Stolen Berries.

I've been eating stuff that grows from plants and trees all my life. :p

If you could see this guy's yard you wouldn't have thought twice about eating those berries. Every plant and every tree has edible fruit in that place.

This is a short list of what I saw:

Mamey, mango, avocado, figs, marañon(the fruit cashews grow from), tomatoes, durian(jackfruit), caymito(star apple), anon(sugar apple), 7 pot chiles, naga chiles, chocolate habanero chiles........
