  From what i understand Summer colds are the worst. I don't get sick but maybe once every 2 years thank goodness.

  Try loratadine. It's the generic of Claritin.
  Luckily I dont suffer from any allergies and rarely get sick, but when I get a head cold, that stuff works pretty well for me.
