I Just purchased my first kayak yesterday, a Perception Sport Conduit 13. I did a ton of research, reading, and watched a zillion YouTube videos and it seemed the best all around bang for the buck for some creeks, slower moving rivers, and for some backwater exploring during my visits to South Florida.
Of course this isn't a full on SOT fishing platform but it does get me floating and will allow me to enjoy the water, catch a few fish, and learn more what I would like in a SOT fishing machine should I ever decide to make that move.
Really looking forward to learning more about this sport and catching a few fish.

Will do, Pete. Will be freshwater for a while but plan to bring this kayak with me to Florida on my next visit.
