a new idea of moving your rods in your truck?

im buying this truck from one of my fathers customers for my first truck since im getting my license in a few months and this idea came into my head. this truck has a tonnua cover(i dont know how to spell it, its a hard cover that covers the bed) and if you could get a rack that would hold your rods on the cover and off of the bed. this would be good for many people that have the cover and has to haul other equipment in the bed or luggage for travelers.
it would keep them from bouncing around and damaging them. if there is one out can someone comment a link or if someone made something similar to that, i would be interested in buying it since i have some nice spots near my school.

You could probably build one out of pvc and a 2x4 for cheaper than you could get a real rod rack from bps or something

Mount them to the underside of the cover, staight forward and back or angle them from corner to corner depending on rod legnth.

if i had 2 peice rods this wouldnt be a problem lol and the pvc will work but look at what 'screamin seaman' i had something more like that in mind, very sleek.
