Back on the water

I am back on the water. It was almost 4 months. I took a new kayak on the water to do a shore video. I will be doing many more short videos on how to improve your kayak fishing.

    Welcome back Pete.

I made my first return in 7 months on Tuesday, fishing with "The BoneFish Whisperer" , Cordel Baum, who was nice enough to paddle & pole me around all day... saw plenty of $$ fish, had a couple on the terminal end of my line that came unbuttoned, then got Jacked on a couple shots bending the rod, and overall a great day on the water. You just don't know what you had until its gone.
I still cannot lift load/unload the kayak or paddle, but I can tie knots, cast, and reel..

Welcome back and good job on the video. I like the open storage area on the front of the Ultimate, that looks pretty handy!!

Great video Pete and glad to see you back! I bought the exact same boat. I'm really enjoying it. Are you using the new Scotty gear head adapters? If so how do you like them. I haven't decided between those and the RAM ones.

Krash, good to hear that you are fishing again. Hope you are 100% soon. The Scotty gear heads work great as well as the Ram. The Scotty is very easy to use, put on and take off and I have a lot of Scotty stuff to put on them.
So far I like the Slayer. I have to put some time in it before I know how much I will like it. Need to put it offshore for the big test.

Pete, try the new Scotty 438 gearheads. You can see them on my avatar pic.
