Shallow Patches-Few Pictures to Share

Wind has been blowing pretty good of late. Have been loading the well with live pilchards and taking them to patches, but the fish are taking live shrimp. Been blowing through 10 dozen shrimp or more on half day trips, but its all about bending the rod, having fun and catching dinner. Been finding some nice mangrove snappers just outside the creek mouths. With the winds blowing 20-25 knots of late I have been doing alot of "rock jumping" in Hawks Channel. The right boulders are holding some nice fish. Been fishing in 10-12ft of water. Will try and post a few more pictures, but here is what I have so far.

Just finished a filming an episode for Florida Keys Fishin Affliction T.V. (www.floridakeysfishinaffliction.com) on how to catch 5-15lb class Muttons in 10ft water after a hard cold front in 20 plus knot winds. Watch for it this season. Here is a short clip.

Also post your catches on their facebook page, charters captains please included clients name & charter business, promote your business. 3-4 pictures will be put on television each week.

Have a good weekend.
