1-27 Daytime Sword and Blue Marlin!!
Left the dock really late 9:30am and ran out in some slop. We stop the boat and start crimping a bait on and a 100 lb Blue Marlin swims up to the boat to check us out.. We pitch a dead ballyhoo and he lights up chasing it all around, but never hooks up. Got it all on Go Pro and will post a video.
The bite was horribly slow and we finally got one at 3pm and we get tight. It was a text book battle and a smooth **** and gaff at the end. Fish weighed some where around 85lbs and was fat.

Also can I get an ID on this fish in the stomach contents. Its mouth kept opening and coming out like a trumpet??
