Flamingo 1-21

I decided to take the boys down to Flamingo for some more fun fishing.
This time Noah's dad, Ira came along for the adventure too.
This was Ira's first time down to Flamingo.
I think he was impressed by the beauty of the area.
We started off slow picking away at a few trout at the end of the incoming.
We changed spots and found a few more fish.
After drifting around awhile we found a good bar with an assortment of slam fish.
I got an inshore slam there myself.
The snook were small, but the trout and at least one of the redfish made up for it.
We even found an inshore mackerel.
The jacks and ladyfish were none stop.
They were using shrimp on jigheads and Cajun Thunders and I was mostly throwing a jig with no shrimp.

Although there were many boats at the ramp, there were none to be found where we ended up.
We saw an mother dolphin and baby on the way out.

Overall it was a great day.
No rain.
No fog.
Just a tad bit windy.
Lots of sun.
Not too many bugs.

Here is the final take home tally.
