Saturday I went to Best Buy and picked up a Asus 300 tablet since my primary laptop is starting to give me problems from time to time. I picked the 300 because you can attach a keyboard to it and they were out of the 700. After using it yesterday I thought it was kind of finicky, not going to another page when I click the link, lot loading the whole page, ect. So today I went and ordered the Samsung Note 10, but I won't get it until Wednesday. I also brought the Verizon hotspot thing, it was $120 and you pay to add a certain amount of usage on it so there's no monthly charge. Anyone have experience with any of this? Is the Asus a lemon or do all tablets seem to act like this one? And is the hotspot worth it?

Good luck.
No thanks. My wife has a Mac and I hate it. I had a Iphone for about 2 weeks, returned it and went back to Droid. I know they're good products I just can't get used to them.
Well I did research them and asked on tablet forums, just looking for other folk's opinion.

I dont think you can beat a samsung device when it comes to android though. Their touchwhiz based roms are always stable and full of features.
Im using my andriod-ified hp touchpad right now and like it too. Ipad is too locked down, but then i like to mess with my stuff and customize it

The iPad is junk compared to the Samsung. The Samsung is faster, does not freeze up, overheat, has better speakers, has just as many apps as Apple, a better battery life, and the biggest thing. It has applications that you can use for business and they actually work.
I cannot see why anyone would pay $200+ for an iPad when they can get a device that will do the same job for much less.
Lol well I guess that settled that.
/thread closed I reckon
PS - how do you get your iPad to overheat and freeze up? Googling leads me to believe only Droids are plagued with that feature repeatedly. I have 2 iPads and can't seem to get mine to freeze, crash or overheat. Do share more of your great tips!
