S.I. flounder fishing 11-22

Well, got to the inlet at 7:00 a.m. Had all 3 dozen small finger mullet. Started fishing south side of inlet, west of bridge on the rocks for about 1 1\2 hrs with no takers. Moved to the cleaning station, and a little improvement. Got 1 flounder at 13 inches, hooked and fought about a 24 inch amberjack on 8 lb. test, till he decided he'd had enough and pulled the hook 4 ft from me. Then hooked something that took 50ft of line off my reel but then it surfaced and realized, I had snagged about 30lb sea turtle. Left the inlet at noon. Fishing was slow that day. Was watching everyone around me and didn't see anyone landing any fish. Hope this report helps out. Talked to a guy fishing next to me and he said monday was good. He caught 7 flounder over 2lbs up to 6lbs. but tuesday and wensday it slowed down. His fish and my fish came on outgoing tide. Good luck on the flounder fishing.

Thanks for the report. I am heading over the weekend of Dec. 7, hopefully the fishing picks up. I was over there 2 weeks ago. It was slow then too.
I will post a report that weekend.

I can second that it was a slow morning. Didn't see any bait getting busted and only 1 flounder and a jack and we had enough and decided to call it a day. Tide was very high that morning maybe that had something to do with It. On the other hand mullet was very thick at PC and the inlet
