My brother in law finally made it down after being home from his deployment, and his first time meeting his new niece. He was real excited to get out on the water. The plan started early thursday to try for some tarpon or maybe a shark. He just wanted something that tugged hard. We fished for ladyfish while it was dark. After we had enough bait we stayed and messed around with them for a little while longer, then we headed out. Set a few baits out in the first spot, after about 15 minutes we got a nice sized shark about 5 1/2 foot. Excited about that we headed south some and got into some other fish. We landed trout, reds, snooklets, snapper, flounder, jack, and black drum. While fishing the bushes we deployed a chunk bait maybe to pick up a tarpon or shark. Well it did pick up a shark another large one around 6 ft. We did this method again and hooked into another that made short work of the 80lbs fluro. This one pulled a little harder than the rest and would have loved to see it. We set out for the ramp after a great day on the water.
Saturday i really wanted to make it to the show down but after getting out of work late friday and having family plans saturday afternoon we decided to just head out for a morning trip. Setting out into the wind we headed deep in the back to find some fish. After a rat red, the bite turned on at the spot for about 30 min with fish resulting in ever few casts. Landed my biggest red at 30" a couple of slot fish and a smaller snook. We head to the next spot. Landed another three slot reds, one of which had the most spots of any red we've caught (15, 8 on one side and 7 on the other) My fiance was excited about that catch. After a flounder and a jack we headed in.
We've got tons of pics but my brother in law only sent me the ones of my fish, my fiance and the sharks so after all that he is left out lol.
I'll start with the two sharks

The only snook i caught half way worthy of a photo lol
