SE non-meeting TONIGHT - 3/7/13 at 6pm

I thought our first non-meeting went pretty well with a good turnout. I met a lot of the members who fish out of FPI, SLI and JI. Our region stretches down to Boca, and plenty of great reports come out of PBI, BBI and BI, so would like to meet the crew from the south as well.

Too many things going on in February, but 3/7/13 is the date that Dave (nuevowavo) and I landed on. Thinking 6pm on Thursday 3/7 at Two Georges in boynton beach. I've seen reports where a few members would stop here after fishing to grab a bite to eat, so it must be good. It's also waterfront for those who wish to come by boat. Also open to suggestions for other locations if anyone is strongly against Two Georges.

This is a very informal meet and greet to put faces with names. We will raffle some Fl Sportsman swag and hopefully more. Can also do a 50/50 raffle... More details on that later. Let me know if you're interested and any suggestions you have. I'd like to get an idea on turnout.

Sounds great. Many of us in this area do go there for lunch, etc. The other good option would be The Old Key Lime House, but no objection to Two Georges from me. Darcizzle and I will be in attendance.

Key Lime House for lousy food, no thanks. Rather Lantana Jacks.

What is the parking situation with 2 G's? Has it gotten any better in the last several years?

Cool, and if your screen name is what you fly, I have a ton of hours in one, along with the 180, the 201T (dog), in addition to others. PPL since around 1973-1974 (before I got my A&P/IA). So picking on pilots, I guess I pick on myself too :banghead:grin

Believe it or not, they are working on rescuing the archives from cyberspace. Stay tuned...
