Yeah , there's a big trade off in speed. My Viking used to cruise at 24 knots and I thought that was slow after a while. I love the weight in a diesel, though.Plus the stabbin cabin is always nice.

I looked at this sled at the Stuart Boat Show. I think it would be ideal for an Island hopper. Finally someone put a nice rigging station on a CC. You don't need the quads. Boat runs fine with Trip's and gives you 1.3 gpm.

My buddy in the Cape has a 23' Vector. It's a real nice boat. Heavy thing. I imagine that 42 is a hog.

Looks like they thought of everything on that Hydra Sports 42. Only thing I can think of is having to clean all those nooks and crannies. I guess if you own that boat, you have a cleaning service to do the work.

That double bench was slick. 1.3GPM is right though. Maybe better than your old inboard but not by much.

All it needs is a wireless submersible ROV that relays video to the flatscreen, then you could check out the spot before you fished and/or watch the fish strike and fight.

You could also have a paid (unpaid free trips) mate on board all trips.

got it. Well its unpowered but it is remotely operated. I record it to my tablet PC.

Yeah, it almost has to much going on.

Tater the double seat is cool and so is rigging station. That would be great for long runs with the kids.
