Never a reason for this. Shut off the motor, leave door closed until fish is ready, throttle up forward motor. What a shame! Hope all on board are OK.

It was a walk around. Do you think it was too big for fight from the bow in CC fashion?

This is why I don't fish for marlin. That and I don't really get to fish anymore. Awesome photos! Should make the insurance claim a cinch!
