Any Wahoo Reports?

Thinking of doing a trip to Bimini/Cat latter part of the week. Any reports? Thanks

We did a day trip to westend Wed. left LWI at 830am checked in at 10am decided to get some cracked conch and coconut frenchtoast at teasers, since it was slack tide. Headed north to memory within 3 min of trolling nice 30# wahoo in boat. Thought it was going to be a stellar day but was wrong lost the next 2 hoos then boarded a smaller one at 515pm. Also went 2 for 3 on dolphin. Pointed bow west and throttled down home by 645pm.
Not a great trip but not bad either! Good luck.

They are there30-60 lb fish

We fished Monday for two hours and went 3 for 5 on the Wahoo 20lb to 60lbs.Seas were 3ft or less.Today its flat seas.

This Friday am looks good, 2-3', east at 7-11kts, with a return late Jan 1 or early the 2nd, winds looking like variable 5-7...catch em up...should be great New Year's weekend in the islands...E.

My son went with some friends from Ocean reef to Cat and then Chub early this morning. Sent me pictures of a half dozen decent hoos, though i am not sure where they were from...

January 1, happy new year. It is dead for the hoos. Trolled to issacs, nothing, nada. I fell better though. Neighbor left at 930, trolled around issacs to ginger breads and back. Nothing.

Found a floater on way back, 3 dolphin, a wahoo and triple tail

got one hoo in front of bimini christmas day and dint catch another one til new years day a mile or so north of bimini....bite was horrible. both nice 40-50lb fish
