Home East Central General Fishing & The Outdoors

PC 12/19 Offshore

Best buddy was back home from Tennessee, so we did a spur of the moment 26 hr iron man trip out of the port. Ran north and bottom dropped some wrecks in 80-90 ft all night and boated a couple of mangos to 10 lbs. Bait of choice was grunt chunks. Caught plenty of ARS in the mix up to 15 lbs. Come day break we ran east to some cheesy bottom in 140 in search of gags, but only caught more ARS. Ran a little further east and dropped a wreck in 220 and caught some giant AJ's up to 60lbs. Checked a few buoys for the trips that everyone was talking about but didn't find any. Ended up with a good bit of snapper filets and smoked AJ fish dip is in the near future. Seas were calm at night, but got a bit snotty during the day. Nice day on the water. Pictures to come.
