    What favors/spices are you doing?
    Look good so far.

    A couple years ago I had a bunch of "extra" hog meat. I made some jerky with a bunch of it and gave quite a bit out to friends around the same time we gave them Christmas cards.
    Every year since then they ask if we are making more, lol.
    I didn't do anything special with it, just teriyaki flavoring from Bass Pro.
    Was good though.

    I used soy sauce, onion powder, black pepper, garlic salt, and sage.

    I normally make jerky in a dehydrator, but decided to try the same recipe on the smoker.

    Wish you were closer, I'd steal a couple pieces from ya. Lol
    I need to make some more soon. My kids love jerky.

    Turned out good, but no better than using liquid smoke and the dehydrater. Just took more work.

    I'm going to back to the easier way.
