Found a dozen gogs right off the beach on some structure on 12/24, right before the sun poked the horizon. very short bite, but enough to fish with.

They are all over the place. They move around a lot.

Anyone have any bait info on the Boca Raton area??

Nothing substantial, but I have recently seen some small baits, maybe 2 inches long and probably small pilchards, just off of Gumbo Limbo in the ICW. If you're looking for some snapper candy, that may help. If you're looking for sailfish bait then you're out of luck.

Medium to large ballyhoo are around, near shore, in small schools.

Hillsboro: Speedos will come to you if you anchor near structure and chum.

CAUTION...they have weak mouths so bring them in gently or you'll pull the hooks!

Jupiter:  7/20 saw bait just north of the inlet near the color line on outgoing @ 800a.  Saw zero baits at the green roofs.  Second time this month nothing there, used to be great.

Already bought some from Matt so no need to stop.  Matt's baits lasted all day though, didn't have one die in livewell so always good to just buy it as well.

Who and where is "Matt"?  Any bait outlets near LWI?  We have made a few short trips recently launching at the Jim Barry ramp and would greatly appreciate any locations to buy live bait in that area.  Thanks.

Matt is in Jupiter Inlet.  He is floating out there in the middle of the inlet typically 6:30-9:30am and has a long net extended up from a rod holder as a marker, but text him a day ahead to verify.  Had goggle eyes and thread fins yesterday.  Prices change depending on supply and demand so I'd defer to his responses.  561-201-2419

Anyone know where the mullet are?  I live along the intercoastal in Hypouxo (Boynton) and havent seen much action yet.  They're a little late this year compared to last. Thanks in advance.

Tons of cigar minnows a few weekends ago at Juno pier. Look for them on your sonar then drop the sabiki, huge clouds. Were biting #6 sabiki in green or red even at 9am after my late start. Had a few larger runners break me off, but landed a couple of those too probably 6-8 inches perfect size for kite baits.

Bad news was, current was ripping and my 2 dozen baits accounted for 0 keeper fish :rage:

Huge school of menhaden and small pilchards by Dubois Park early evening. Birds were having a feast...Saw a guy catching a nice size red fish close to the rocks...Lots of ladyfish, snook, jacks, and small tarpon on them
